Gohyakurakan-ji Temple Sazae-do Hall
Gohyakurakan-ji Temple used to be in Honzyo Tatekawa Itsutsume (today near Oshima-cho, Taito-ku), and was one of the scenic points in Edo. “Sazae-do Hall” was a three-story hall in the temple courtyard: many people would come and enjoy looking at Mt. Fuji from there. Depicted in this picture are locals, a woman with a child, apprentices, and pilgrims enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji appearing over Tatekawa.Today, Gohyakurakan-ji Temple is located in Meguro.
